Hello friends, artists, art lovers,
We've been busy filming drawing videos (see some of the video shoot images below) and revamping the website along with all the normal hustle and bustle of painting and teaching. We leave for the Ireland workshop shortly, so we'll start the summer out with a bang!
Below are some recent highlights plus upcoming workshops.

Rob's website revamped!
It has been a lot of work, and involved recruiting our artist/html expert and friend, Gio Argentati, to do some major coding work but Rob's website finally has a new look, larger (and more numerous) images, and is easier to navigate (I hope!).
Take a look now!

American Artist's Workshop Magazine, Summer 2009
Editor-in-Chief M. Stephen Doherty wrote a wonderful article in the summer issue of Workshop Magazine entitled "Robert Liberace: Capturing the Energy and Expressiveness in Great Drawings and Paintings". It is in bookstores now, so keep an eye out!
Rob to Teach an Online Class with American Artist Magzine,
Summer 2009
Rob has been asked by American Artist Magazine to teach an online class as a new feature for their magazine and website. It will be six weeks long, with a live webinar and two critiques, along with weekly lessons and student discussion. The class will focus on three color chalk and red chalk drawing. A limited number of students will have their work critiqued online. As we find out more information on joining the group, we'll post it here.

Stephen Doherty's Blog, June 2009
American Artist editor Stephen Doherty includes Rob's advice from his first DVD in his blog entitled
"Six Tips on How to Draw Anything Accurately".

"Paint Alexandria" demo, Art League Benefit, May 16, 2009
Rain didn't dampen this year's "Paint Alexandria". Rob painted a scene from the beautiful Carlyle Gardens, about a block from the Torpedo Factory. Held along (or near) the Old Towne waterfront, this two-day plein air event was filled with on-site demonstrations and instructional sessions from some of the artist-instructor members of the Art League.
